Job Overview

We are assisting our client, a reputable company in the real estate and construction industry, in recruiting a talented and innovative Architect to join their team. The Architect will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they meet client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This position requires creative problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication with various stakeholders.

Salary: 200,000 Naira monthly (Gross)

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop architectural designs and detailed drawings for projects from concept to completion.


2. Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure designs are feasible, functional, and meet client needs.


3. Assist in project planning and coordination, including budget estimation, material selection, and scheduling.


4. Conduct site visits to ensure designs are followed and adjust plans as necessary to resolve construction issues.


5. Review and approve plans, designs, and specifications in line with industry standards and regulations.


6. Stay updated with new building products, construction techniques, and architectural trends.


7. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental laws.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.


2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an architectural role, preferably in real estate or construction.


3. Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite).


4. Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.


5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.


6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.


7. Attention to detail and a high standard for design quality.


8. Membership or affiliation with a professional architectural body is a plus.
