General objective
Managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and a commitment to accuracy.
RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Manage and oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Maintain and update financial records and databases.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of sales, costs, and inventory to provide insights that drive profitability.
- Collaborate with the operations team to oversee inventory management and ensure that stock valuations are accurate.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of tax filings, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as internal policies.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Any other task assigned by line manager.
REQUIERED SKILLS
- Language skills – English is essential.
- Education degree – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Work experience – 4 years of Accounting experience (preferably in manufacturing).
- Computer skills – MS Word, MS Excel & Outlook
Other required skills;
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- CPA designation or working towards one is a plus.
