Responsibilities

Financial:




  • Analyze dat and create reports within the specified time.

  • Recruit and oversee subcontractors and vendors.

  • Forecasting budget requirements for the short, medium and long term in addition to analyzing and managing project financials

  • Invoice verification and approval / booking.



Leadership / managing people:




  • Communication with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and business executives are all crucial to completing the task / project

  • Interact and cooperate with all members of the organization, its suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Support to all other departments within the Region / Location with commercial process and related issues.



Financial performance:




  • Preparing budget

  • Tracking expenses

  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities

  • Involved in the procurement process, selecting suppliers and submcontractors, overseeing contract negotiations and managing relationships.



Quality:




  • Attention to detail involves a meticulous approach to project management.

  • Commercial managers leave no room for errors, ensuring that every aspect of the project is carefully monitored and executed accurately to prevent costly mistakes

  • Negotiation skills are vital for securing favorable terms in Purchase Orders and resolving disputes amicably.

  • Commercial Managers act as skilled mediators.

  • They need to foster mutually beneficial Purchase Orders and maintain positive relationship among suppliers / Subcontractors.



Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance with 5-10 years experience

  • Internship in a construction company is an advantage

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Excellent time management

  • Good business commercial acumen

  • Good MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

  • Working knowledge of SAP Finance / Controlling System is an advantage

  • Ability to manage budgets, track expenses and conduct financial analysis.
