The key purpose of this role is to carry out sampling, sample preparation and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples and packaged product​.

Key outputs and responsibilities:

Maintain equipment and workplace  ​

• Maintain and calibrate all inspection equipment  ​


• Verify equipment against manualized procedures so as to achieve accurate & reliable results.  ​


• Interpret & interrogate data in order to assess equipment & operator performance ​

Analyze samples ​

• Prepare samples and conduct analysis ​


• Analyze lab samples and produce results as per set standards ​

Maintain a safe and healthy working environment ​

• Maintain housekeeping standards ​


• Comply with safety, health and environment procedures and legislation ​


• Support problem solving initiatives ​


• Adhere to the PPE policy and identify unsafe practices​

Work in teams ​

• Communicate effectively in the workplace ​


• Contribute to self and team development ​

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum a B.SC/HND in Biotechnology / Microbiology​


• A working experience in FMCG Company will be an added advantage​


• Physically fit ​


• Computer literate ​


• Self-starting, resourceful, energetic and hands on ​


• Team player ​


• Mature disposition and flair for hard work
