Position Overview



We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives, support our growing team, and help cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR best practices, employee relations, and recruitment, with the ability to manage and enhance our HR policies and procedures.



Key Responsibilities




  • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees, to ensure the company attracts high-quality talent.

  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee queries, mediating conflicts, and promoting strong relationships between management and staff.

  • HR Policy Development: Develop, implement, and manage HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with company values and regulatory requirements.

  • Performance Management: Oversee performance review processes, provide guidance to managers on effective feedback techniques, and support the development of performance improvement plans.

  • Training & Development: Identify employee training needs, plan and implement training sessions, and promote ongoing professional development.

  • Compensation & Benefits: Collaborate with leadership to manage and review the company’s compensation and benefits structure, ensuring competitiveness in the market.

  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to Nigerian labor laws and other relevant regulations, keeping the company up-to-date with any legislative changes.

  • Employee Engagement: Design and execute initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention, fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment.



Qualifications and Skills




  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, ideally in a similar industry or startup environment.

  • Strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence.

  • Proven track record of managing recruitment processes, employee relations, and performance management.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
