Responsibilities

• Knowledge about 33/11KV and 11KV/415V Transformers Operation and Maintenance.


• ⁠Inspect, test, install, maintain and repair substation electrical equipment, circuit breakers, transformers, load-break switches, meters, batteries, chargers and protection and control relay


• Experience in planning and setting up a minimum 10 MW power generation and subsequent distribution network, including commissioning.


• ⁠Maintain plant electrical distribution network (33KV/11KV) and substations


• ⁠Plan/Schedule/Execute day to day maintenance, shutdown and turnaround jobs.


• ⁠Responsible for completion of the planned PM jobs as per the PM schedule.


• ⁠Troubleshoot reliability problems and provide reports on preventive/ corrective actions.


• ⁠Minimum experience of 5 years in operations and maintenance of a 33kv/11kV/415V underground power distribution system.


• ⁠Knowledge about Jenbacher engines operation and Maintenance will be added advantage.


• ⁠Knowledge about SCADA Systems will be added advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field


• ⁠7 to 10 years as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar role


• ⁠Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment


• ⁠Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints


• ⁠Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills


• ⁠Attention to detail and a focus on safety


• ⁠Strong communication and teamwork skills
