Job Description

Greenspace Farms Ltd (Greenco). is looking to engage the services of an Experienced Junior Retail Accountant  with experience in managing Inventory & Sales transactions.

The ideal candidate should be Smart , Energetic , organized and detail-oriented.  



Key Functions of the Role: 

The Primary responsibilities will include but not limited to the following :

• Inventory / Stock management control 


• Daily Posting of Sales Invoices and Expenses transactions


• Vendor account management & reconciliation


• Reporting of financial transactions and requested by management.


• Updating and filing cash and transfer payment Vouchers with supporting documents.


• Maintain Fixed asset register and asset valuation.


• Maintain and organize the physical filing of source documents.


• Preparation of the Monthly Payroll and Sales report


• Preparation and filing of statutory payments and taxes.


• Monitor office expenses, imprest and reconciliation.


• Preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements


• Coordinate monthly Stock counting, and reconciliation.


• Bank statement reconciliation.

Educational Requirements

• Min of HND / B.Sc. in Finance/Accounting or other related fields

Experience:

• Min of 3 years of experience working as an Accountant or similar role


• Retail experience is compulsory.


• Preference will be giving to candidates residing in or close to the mainland.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and office filing management


• Ability to work with accounting software or ERP


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management


• Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time


• Skills to operate common office equipment .

Renumerations:

• 180 k - 200k  / Month + Performance incentive + HMO+ Performance Incentive
