We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Operator to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components.
This role requires an individual with a strong technical background in plastic injection molding, hands-on experience with mold setup, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment for optimal performance.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of the production process.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate injection molding machines, ensuring proper configurations, mold changes, and settings to achieve optimal output.
Quality Control: Monitor production quality by conducting regular inspections of finished products, adjusting parameters to meet quality standards, and promptly addressing any defects.
roubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to molding defects, equipment malfunctions, and process deviations to minimize downtime.
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize molding processes for increased efficiency, reduced cycle times, and minimized material waste.
Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance on molding machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs, while coordinating with maintenance teams for more extensive issues.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate production logs, machine settings, and maintenance records, providing regular updates to the Production Supervisor.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with quality control, maintenance, and production teams to meet production schedules and achieve company targets.
Qualifications
Minimum of an OND or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience operating injection molding machines, preferably in a plastic manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using molding machines and tools, with a solid understanding of safety protocols.
Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
