Job Summary




  • We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Operator to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components.

  • This role requires an individual with a strong technical background in plastic injection molding, hands-on experience with mold setup, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment for optimal performance.

  • The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of the production process.



Key Responsibilities




  • Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate injection molding machines, ensuring proper configurations, mold changes, and settings to achieve optimal output.

  • Quality Control: Monitor production quality by conducting regular inspections of finished products, adjusting parameters to meet quality standards, and promptly addressing any defects.

  • roubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to molding defects, equipment malfunctions, and process deviations to minimize downtime.

  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize molding processes for increased efficiency, reduced cycle times, and minimized material waste.

  • Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance on molding machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs, while coordinating with maintenance teams for more extensive issues.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate production logs, machine settings, and maintenance records, providing regular updates to the Production Supervisor.

  • Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with quality control, maintenance, and production teams to meet production schedules and achieve company targets.



Qualifications




  • Minimum of an OND or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience operating injection molding machines, preferably in a plastic manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in using molding machines and tools, with a solid understanding of safety protocols.

  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
