Job Summary



We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to be the first point of contact for our customers at Mechanic on the Go. The Customer Service Representative will handle customer inquiries, manage appointments, and provide real-time updates to customers regarding their car repairs. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience, building trust, and converting inquiries into loyal clients.



Key Responsibilities



Customer Interaction:




  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, text, and in person at the workshop.

  • Address all customer questions, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide accurate information, and guide them through our services.



Appointment Management:




  • Schedule and confirm appointments for repairs and services.

  • Ensure that all appointment-related information is accurately recorded and communicated to both the customer and workshop staff.



Customer Updates:




  • Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle during the repair process.

  • Provide detailed explanations of completed repairs and services, addressing any questions to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Follow up with customers after repairs to gather feedback and reinforce a positive experience.



Client Conversion:




  • Engage potential clients, explaining our services, pricing, and benefits to convert inquiries into appointments and loyal customers.

  • Identify opportunities to promote additional services and repairs that may benefit the customer.



Administrative Duties:




  • Accurately log all customer interactions and maintain records in the customer database.

  • Assist in processing payments, issuing receipts, and managing paperwork related to repair services.



Customer Relationship Building:




  • Build positive relationships with customers, fostering loyalty and trust in Mechanic on the Go.

  • Be an ambassador of the Mechanic on the Go brand, promoting our values of reliability, transparency, and customer satisfaction.



Requirements




  • Location: Must live in or near Ikeja, Lagos, to ensure easy accessibility to the workshop.

  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive or workshop setting.

  • Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

  • Ability to handle multiple inquiries, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

  • Basic knowledge of automotive services and repairs is a plus.

  • Proficient in using computers and software for scheduling and database management.

  • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and professionalism.

  • Availability to work Monday to Saturday.
