YIPDI is in search for an ICT Officer who will work under the leadership and supervision of the Project Manager, accountable for professional technical contribution to drilling and construction of the WASH project activities within the frame work of the emergency response program in Borno state Nigeria.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, develop and implement a system for reviewing and troubleshooting data queries on the platform provided
Maintain a system for capturing and documenting data and relevant information on project activities, beneficiaries, outputs, outcomes, and impacts. Which is feasible, practical ‘User friendly’ and will obtain valid and reliable information
Develop and manage the management information system (database) and relevant tools for the project.
Support MEAL Manager in developing data collection methodology and tools
Support data management in close collaboration with core competencies, and the development of clear information flows between program and M&E staff as needed
Working with MEAL Manager to ensure timely preparation and generation of information products, and support on information sharing and dissemination through YIPDI’s Platform
Comply with YIPDI’s policies practice and respect to child protection, PSEA, code of conduct, health safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies.
Position Required
Degree/HND in Information communication Technology, and other related fields with a minimum of 3 years field experience
Previous experience with other NGOs
Training and experience on ICT related activities
Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
Fluency in English and Hausa Spoken and written
Ability to Work in Partnership with government and other NGO staff
