To examine finances and evaluate financial records.
To carry out financial forecast & risk analysis by Identifying, documenting, and testing internal controls to ensure the organization is not exposed to unnecessary risk. It also evaluate the controls put in place to counter business risks.
To advise on how to reduce costs & increase profits
To prepare reports of audit findings and make recommendations to the business.
To assess the suitability of current internal controls, making suggestions for improvements where needed
To plan and execute internal audits of the business & also create audit procedures to ensure the audits achieve its’ objectives.
To stay informed on compliance law, monitor changes in regulations, and communicate issues with relevant departments.
Qualification
B.SC./HND in Accounting, and other related disciplines. Interested candidates must have worked in a blue chip company in same capacity with not less than 5years work experience.
Post graduate degrees, ACA/ACCA & knowledge on Quickbooks/Sage accounting package will be an added advantage.
