Troubleshoot issues with molding and tufting equipment, diagnosing problems and performing basic maintenance to minimize production delays. Work with maintenance teams for more complex repairs.
Work to maximize production efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of product quality. Proactively suggest process improvements and contribute to ongoing efforts to optimize production.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures in the operation of machinery, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings, production rates, and any issues encountered during production.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations and resolve production challenges.
Requirements
Experience: 5–8 years of hands-on experience in operating toothbrush molding and tufting machines or similar equipment in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the oral care industry.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of molding and tufting processes, machine settings, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with quality control measures and production tracking systems.
Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand and perform basic maintenance tasks on machinery.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on product quality, with the ability to identify and address defects or inconsistencies.
Problem-Solving: Proficient in identifying operational issues and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and production delays.
