Job Description

• Table settings: Arrange table settings and keep tables clean.


• Food safety: Follow safe food handling procedures.


• Communication: Communicate with kitchen and serving staff.


• Health and safety: Adhere to health department rules and regulations.


• Knowledge of menu:Know the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.


• Flexibility:Be flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


• Serving food and drinks:Bring food and drinks to customers.


• Payment:Collect payments from customers and deliver checks.

Responsibilities

• Waiters or Waitresses are responsible for taking orders and serving food and beverages to guests.


• They play an important role in guest satisfaction as they are also responsible for checking on customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND / / NCE / HND qualification with 3 - 4 years relevant work experience.


• Other skills that are important for waiters include: Active listening, Presentation skills, Attention to detail, and Positive attitude.
