Key Duties:

A Construction Company is looking for an intelligent, diligent, forthright, trustworthy and experienced quantity surveyor to work on and manage the project cost, contracts and contractors. Must be creative and enjoy working within a small entrepreneurial environment that is result oriented. Must be ready to exercise sound business judgement and take responsibility in a variety of situations

Job Duties:

• Preparation of bill of quantities.


• Tender preparation.


• Estimate the quantity and cost of materials.


• Track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets.


• Identify potential financial or construction risks.


• Calculate, record and track inventory and estimates.


• Work with the Engineers to manage materials, time and cost of project.


• Manage records relating to the quality and quantity of materials supplied on site.


• Any other businesses/ assignments as the exigencies of work demand.

• Good Interpersonal Skills and Customer Relations.


• Good human and material resources management.


• Good business acumen.


• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Tools and Project Management Software.


• Excellent knowledge of Cost Management and Control.


• Resilient and comfortable working from any location such as construction sites and in the office.

Requirements:

• Candidates with a minimum of a B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying


• MSC in Construction Management or Project Management


• Good leadership and management skill


• Good personality: firm, assertive, upright and straightforward person


• Very good knowledge of the subject matter


• Must have worked consistently at least for 5 years


• A minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience with at least 1-2 years managing projects independently from conception to completion
