- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager with a strong background in Business Development to lead our HR consulting firm.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the overall business strategy, leading key client engagements, expanding business development efforts, and ensuring operational excellence.
- This role demands an individual with a strategic mindset, leadership capabilities, and deep expertise in HR consulting services.
- Reports To: CEO / Managing Director
Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Management:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the HR consulting business.
- Identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with potential clients, and drive sales efforts.
- Lead business development initiatives, including networking, attending industry events, and identifying emerging trends.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
Leadership & Strategy:
- Oversee the daily operations of the firm and lead a team of consultants and support staff.
- Set the firm’s strategic goals and ensure their alignment with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to remain competitive and relevant in the marketplace.
Project Delivery & Operational Excellence:
- Ensure the successful execution of HR consulting projects, including recruitment, training, employee engagement, and talent management services.
- Drive operational efficiency and ensure the firm meets its performance metrics.
- Manage resources effectively to meet client demands and ensure project profitability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on business performance to senior leadership.
Team Management & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of consultants and business development professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes professional growth.
- Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and set clear objectives for team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HR consulting, with significant exposure to business development and leadership roles.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and client engagement in the HR consulting industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in HR solutions such as talent management, recruitment, organizational development, and employee engagement.
