The Inventory Manager will oversee inventory management, procurement, and purchasing operations for Oriki Group. This role ensures efficient inventory control, optimal stock levels, and timely procurement of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures.
Conduct periodic inventory audits and reconciliations.
Monitor stock levels, track inventory movements, and optimize storage.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices and terms.
Manage procurement processes, including RFQs, RFPs, and contract administration.
Purchase goods and services in alignment with company needs and budget.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Monitor market trends, demand fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions.
Develop contingency plans to mitigate potential supply chain risks.
Coordinate goods receipt, storage, and distribution.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Manage budget for procurement and inventory.
Analyze expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Work closely with departments (Sales, Operations, Finance) to ensure seamless inventory and procurement processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.
3+ years of experience in inventory management, procurement, and purchasing.
Professional certifications will be an added advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficient in inventory management software and G-suite
