Job Summary:
The AV System Integrator specializes in crafting bespoke audiovisual experiences by integrating complex AV systems into diverse environments. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creative design, and project management skills. The ideal candidate will align with CEDIA and AVIXA's professional standards, ensuring that all integrations are executed with technical excellence and are user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the AV integration process from project inception through Rough-in, Trim, and finish phases, ensuring that all activities align with project requirements and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance to the AV System Installers, overseeing the installation, configuration, and integration of audiovisual systems.
- Collaborate with the AV system designer to address on-site technical challenges and recommend resolutions, ensuring that red line drawings accurately reflect on-site conditions.
- Ensure compliance with AVIXA and CEDIA installation standards throughout the AV integration process, maintaining a high standard of quality and performance.
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to verify that installed AV systems meet performance and quality requirements.
- Act as the primary on-site contact for the AV integration process, liaising with project managers and clients to address technical concerns and ensure project success.
- Program, calibrate, and commission AV systems following industry-recognized calibration techniques to guarantee optimal performance.
- Engage in thorough testing and validation of systems post-installation to ensure they meet the 'AVIXA Quality of Experience for AV' guidelines.
- Provide detailed system documentation and user manuals in line with CEDIA's recommendations for clear and comprehensive client handover.
- Develop and publish knowledge base articles including but not limited to installation guides, programming guides and system user guides.
- Offer training to clients, emphasizing ease of use and system maintenance, consistent with CEDIA’s focus on customer service excellence.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and installation standards to enhance the quality of AV system integration.
Performance KPIs:
- System Performance: Calibration and commissioning of systems to meet CEDIA and AVIXA standards for audiovisual quality and user experience.
- Client Education: Effectiveness of client training sessions on system use, ensuring they align with CEDIA’s guidelines for empowering end-users.
- Timely Completion of AV Installations: Ensuring that AV systems are installed within agreed-upon project timelines.
- Adherence to Industry Standards: Maintaining compliance with AVIXA and CEDIA installation standards throughout the integration process.
- Client Satisfaction: Receiving positive feedback from clients regarding the performance and functionality of installed AV systems.

Qualifications:
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in audiovisual system design and integration.
- Active CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification from AVIXA or other relevant certifications from CEDIA.
- Proven track record in high-quality AV system integration.
