Job Summary
- The Sales Merchandiser will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling the company’s product directly to customers at point-of-sale locations.
- This role requires engaging customers, explaining the benefits of the company’s solution, assisting them through the checkout process and ensuring an excellent customer experience.
- The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.
Responsibilities
Product Promotion & Sales:
- Actively promote the BNPL product to customers in retail environments.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the BNPL product features and benefits.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and performance metrics.
Customer Engagement:
- Approach and engage potential customers to generate interest.
- Assist customers with the BNPL application process on the checkout platform.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel to facilitate cooperative selling efforts.
- Coordinate with store managers to optimize product placement and visibility.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports to their supervisor
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/OND in relevant fields
- At least 1-2 years of experience in sales, merchandising or customer service roles.
- Experience with financial products.
- Strong sales and persuasion skills.
- Proficiency in using mobile devices and familiarity with digital applications.
- The Sales Merchandiser will be required to work Mondays to Saturdays.
