Job Brief

• We are looking for a Technical Drawing Teacher who is keen on aiding this Institution achieve its core goals of delivering quality education to its students and helping them build great and sustainable interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning, developing, and implementing technical drawing curriculum to meet learning goals.


• Ensure proper execution of lesson plans daily.


• Teach students the various topics included in technical drawing such as geometric constructions, building and engineering drawing, computer-aided drawing, etc.


• Provide extensive lesson notes for the students and present drawing demonstrations.


• Checking the student's notes regularly to ensure it's updated.


• Practice with the students in class.


• Ensure the availability of technical drawing materials and guide the students on how to use them.


• Maintain proper record of students' academic records


• Assign assignments to students.


• Grade tests and assignments of students.


• Create a positive learning environment to develop the interest of the students.


• Prepare the students for internal and external exams.

Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of B.Ed Degree or B.Sc with PGDE certificate (or in view) in Building Technology and Technical Drawing, Engineering, Architecture, or any related field. A master's degree is an added advantage.


• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in both Cambridge and Nigerian Curriculum Possess in-depth knowledge of the core subject and skills to deliver knowledge to students.


• Good knowledge of and practical use of quality and seamless training/teaching methods.


• The candidate for this role is expected to possess great skills in drawing and construction.


• Good communication skills, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills with the ability to cooperate with other staff members.


• As a TD teacher, you should have the ability to work with students with different interests and capabilities.


• TRCN certificate will be an additional advantage.
