Reporting: Group Managing Director

Job Overview: This role will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The goal is to promote corporate values and enable business success through human resources management, including job design, recruitment, performance management, training & development, employment cycle changes, talent management, and facilities management services amongst other duties and responsibilities.

Job Description:



  • Develop HR Strategies to support the Company’s Corporate & Business Strategy:

  • Align Human Resources to the overall business objectives and goals of the organization.

  • Ensure that organizational structures and processes contribute to the achievement of the Company’s goals and objectives.

  • Identify key risk element pertaining to the execution of the HR strategy, design and communicate mitigating interventions.

  • Provide regular feedback to Management on implementation of HR strategies.

  • Forecast ‘people’ resource requirements, ensuring that organizational structures, job descriptions, performance management, recruitment as well as succession planning frameworks are in place.

  • Formulate HR budgets & financial expenditures within agreed parameters according to budget or adjusted budget.

  • Benchmark business practices, employee benefits and remuneration.

  • Supervising day-to-day operations of the administrative department and staff members.

  • Developing, reviewing, and improving administrative systems, policies, and procedures

  • Ensuring office is stocked with necessary supplies and all equipment is working and properly maintained.


Qualification, Skills   and Experience Required



  • People oriented and results driven

  • Very good knowledge of the banking industry

  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics

  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases

  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills

  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices

  • First degree in Human Resources or related field and a master’s Degree is required.

  • A membership of CIPM and any of SHRM, HRCI or CIPD is required.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Strong selling, presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Minimum of 8 years cognate experience and 5+ years as Senior

  • Manager, Human Resources in a Financial Sector.
