Responsibilities




  • Lead and manage the sales engineers in setting and drafting the proposals.

  • Build and maintain relationships with tier 1 industrial clients, offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.

  • Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and

  • threats.

  • Strategize according to the ‘Company Sales Targets’ according to the below-mentioned KPIs.

  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment with sales strategies.

  • Set high targets towards ‘lead generation’, and strategies to close big sales.

  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical standards in all sales activities.

  • Provide training and technical support to any member in the sales team, helping them improve their performance and skills



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the power and energy sector and business

  • Must technically fit in power generators and industrial cables.

  • Proven experience as a sales Manager or in a senior sales leadership role.

  • Strong understanding of the power solutions industry, market trends, and competition in Nigeria.

  • Has experience in selling turnkey engineering projects, selling of equipment and solutions, selling of products

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Data-driven decision-maker with the ability to analyze sales data and trends.

  • Ability to develop and grow a sales team

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft 365 applications

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Result-oriented with a track record of exceeding targets.

  • Adaptability to changing market dynamics.
