  • We are in need of a dedicated and talented candidate to take up the role of a Business Development Executive in our client’s office in Port Harcourt.

  • The Business Development Executive will play a key role in driving the growth and expansion of the company by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong relationships with clients, and developing strategies for market penetration.

  • This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, relationship management, and market analysis.

  • The Business Development Officer will work closely with internal teams to create and implement sales strategies, respond to market needs, and help the company achieve its growth objectives.



Responsibilities




  • Identify and target potential business opportunities, partnerships, and new markets.

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve business growth and expansion.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts.

  • Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and follow up to close deals.

  • Develop business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to potential clients.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies.

  • Coordinate with project management and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions to clients.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

  • Experience in business development, sales, or a related role is an advantage

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and business growth targets.

  • Strong knowledge of market research, sales strategies, and business processes.



Skills and Competencies Required:




  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on results and accountability.
