Job Summary:



We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented Project Officer(Partnerships) to join our teamand play a vital role in securing funding, managing projects, and driving programmatic success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission by building strategic partnerships, developing compelling funding proposals, and overseeing project execution from

start to finish.



Responsibilities:




  • Secure funding for foundation initiatives by researching, identifying, and applying fordonations from Foundations and Corporations.

  • Develop and write well-structured and persuasive funding proposals that align with donor priorities and effectively communicate our programs' impact.

  • Manage project lifecycles, including planning, scope definition, budget development, implementation, monitoring & evaluation, and reporting.

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet established quality standards.

  • Lead stakeholder engagement activities to gather project requirements, manage expectations, and ensure project alignment.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with grantmakers, foundations, and other key stakeholders.

  • Track project progress, monitor risks, and proactively identify and resolve issues.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective business development strategies.

  • Stay informed about trends and developments in the funding landscape and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather data for funding proposals and project reports.



Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in project management within the Non-Profit Sector

  • Proven track record of securing funding through grants or other fundraising initiatives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.



Proficiency in Google Suite
