Job Description
Responsibilities
- Payroll processing.
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Manage performance appraisals.
- Provide support and guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including employee relations issues, performance improvement plans, and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive employee engagement initiatives, such as employee surveys, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
- Identify training needs based on performance result
- Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives.
- Support the management on disciplinary and grievance issues
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
- Compile summaries of earnings & deductions (Taxes, Pension, NSITF, NHF, Loan, Leave, Gratuity etc.) and all statutory schedules/remittances for report and ensure payment accordingly
- Resolving payroll discrepancies and ensures all employees have access to their pay-slips
Requirements and Skills
- BSc / BA in Human resources, Industrial relations, or relevant field; further training will be a plus
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- Strong ethics and reliability
- Relevant certifications (an advantage, but not mandatory).
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating clarity and conciseness.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
