Responsibilities:

• Purchase goods and equipment for the organization


• Source for suppliers based on price, quality and availability


• Develop vendor agreements and establish relationships


• Maintain a database of vendors and suppliers


• Monitor supplier performance and negotiate supplier contracts


• Assess vendors through in person visits, and interview


• Monitor and report inventory levels

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a purchaser/storekeeper, preferably in the hospitality industry


• Ability to negotiate pricing and terms


• Strong use of microsoft package


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Familiarity with Lagos markets and road networks


• Knowledge of procurement and inventory terminologies
