Job Description
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and oversee logistics teams, including drivers, ensuring seamless collaboration and performance.
- Train, mentor, and provide regular performance feedback to team members to foster growth and efficiency.
- Optimize workforce allocation, shift scheduling, and resource management for maximum productivity.
- Address and resolve escalated customer issues related to logistics promptly and effectively.
- Maintain open and proactive communication with clients to align with their logistics requirements.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvement initiatives to streamline operations.
Operational Efficiency
- Supervise daily logistics activities, including routing, vehicle tracking, and order fulfillment.
- Design and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce delivery lead times.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the procurement team to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) by meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Develop, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success.
- Oversee operational budgets, manage expenditures, and implement cost-effective practices.
- Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high service quality standards.
Fleet Management
- Manage the company’s fleet, ensuring regular maintenance, safety compliance, and optimal utilization.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers for timely vehicle repairs and servicing.
- Implement measures to enhance fleet performance, minimize downtime, and reduce operational risks.
Who can apply for this role?
- Bachelor's Degree in any field, with up to 2 years of relevant experience in a logistics company.
- Strong understanding of procurement and logistics processes.
- Prior experience working with a vehicle leasing company.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Typing speed of 60 words per minute.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills
