Role Description



This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Solutions Architect at Arnergy in Nigeria. The Lead Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end solar power and storage solutions. He/she would lead a team of solution architects and be responsible for




  • preparing technical proposals using the appropriate tools to determine the best configuration, material and technologies for optimal performance.

  • Supporting the development of commercial proposals by providing material and quantity related information to the commercial and finance teams for price modeling.

  • Developing electrical Single-Line-Diagrams and 3D visualization to aid initial system architecture and project cost budgeting.

  • Performing site assessment to capture customer load profile, energy needs, location preferences, potential threats and available infrastructure required for an optimal design.

  • Developing and managing a database of site assessments and proposals as a corporate asset for decision making.

  • Contributing to project implementation plans and support during project execution.

  • Performing savings and cost-benefit analysis from available data and designing metrics to determine energy and cost savings.

  • Working with operations to define and support the requirements for successful project commissioning and acceptance.

  • Supporting the sales team with technical pre-sales activities.

  • Supporting the commercial team with response to technical questions on RFPs



Qualifications




  • Solution Architecture and Consulting skills

  • Experience in renewable energy sector

  • Experience in solar design software

  • Experience in leading and mentoring teams

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field
