Job Description
Our client is a global trading and distribution company with a network of offices and subsidiaries spanning more than 39 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas. They have a network of showrooms and workshops across 12 countries, and an assembly plant. They enhanced their distribution portfolio with farm machinery in addition to automobiles the company produces passenger cars, trucks, vans, coaches, buses, sports cars, construction equipment and military vehicles. They are currently in need of a Hr Officer.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Assist in Coordinating and managing Payroll, recruitment, screening, and interviewing of applicants for departmental positions, as well as effectively liaising with recruitment agencies.
- Maintain employee attendance records
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans
- Ensure maintenance of appropriate personnel records according to policy and legal requirements
- Assist in developing training and development programs
- Assists in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and welfare regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. in Social Sciences/Human Resources Management or relevant fields
- 2 years work experience in the HR.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills including the ability to prepare reports policies, and procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of HR functions payroll, attendance, excel etc.
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
