Main Function    

• The Massage Therapist provides therapeutic massage services that enhance relaxation, wellness, and recovery, aligning with the spa’s holistic care philosophy.    

Role Responsibilities     

• Therapeutic Massages: Deliver various types of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, lymphatic drainage etc.


• Customised Treatments: Assess individual client needs and tailor massage techniques to address specific concerns, such as muscle tension or recovery from cosmetic procedures.


• Client Education: Provide aftercare advice and recommend follow-up treatments for ongoing wellness.


• Hygiene Maintenance: Ensure proper sanitation of massage tools, linens, and treatment rooms according to health and safety standards.


• Collaboration: Work closely with the medical and aesthetic staff to enhance the overall wellness plan for each client.


• Treatment Planning: Keep detailed records of client preferences, treatment history, and progress for future sessions.

Experience/Qualification    

• Licensed Massage Therapist.


• 2+ years of experience in a spa or therapeutic environment.


• Specialized training in medical or post-operative massage techniques is a plus.

• Bodywork Expertise: Skilled in multiple massage modalities and capable of adapting techniques based on client feedback.


• Client Care: Attentive to client comfort, ensuring a relaxing, healing experience.


• Physical Stamina: Able to perform several massages per day without sacrificing quality.


• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to connect with clients and offer personalized care.


• Attention to Detail: Observant in identifying areas of tension and providing targeted treatment.

• High level of emotional intelligence in difficult circumstances with dedication to sustain performance, particularly when under pressure
