Job Summary:




  • The Delivery Officer is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to customers both within and outside Lagos.

  • This role involves managing a mini truck, ensuring goods are loaded, delivered, and unloaded efficiently, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries.

  • The Delivery Officer will also coordinate delivery schedules, liaise with customers, and ensure compliance with safety and company standards.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Drive and manage a mini truck for product deliveries within Lagos and to external locations.

  • Ensure timely, accurate, and safe delivery of goods to customers.

  • Load and unload products as required, ensuring they are handled with care.

  • Verify orders and ensure correct products are delivered.

  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and documentation.

  • Plan and coordinate delivery routes to optimize time and fuel efficiency.

  • Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any delivery-related issues.

  • Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained and report any maintenance issues.

  • Follow all traffic laws and company safety guidelines during deliveries.



Qualifications:




  • Proven experience as a driver, delivery driver, or in a similar logistics role.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Good communication skills and customer service orientation.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.

  • diploma or equivalent (preferred).
