To support clients in securing optimal financing solutions for their projects by providing in- depth financial analysis, structuring advice, and strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Financial Analysis & Modeling
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed financial models to support debt structuring, project finance, and valuation activities.
- Perform sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and other risk assessments to evaluate financing structures and terms.
- Conduct financial due diligence, market research, and benchmarking to assess project viability.
Debt Structuring & Advisory
- Assist in structuring optimal debt solutions and capital raising strategies, including private
- debt, term loans, and syndicated finance.
- Support negotiations with lenders and other stakeholders to achieve favorable financing terms for clients.
- Prepare term sheets, presentations, and other documentation for debt advisory and financing proposals.
Market and Industry Research
- Conduct market and industry research to provide insights on current trends, risks, and opportunities in the project finance and debt markets.
- Monitor economic indicators, financial markets, and industry developments relevant to client projects and financing.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management frameworks.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure accurate documentation and
- adherence to due diligence requirements.
Qualifications
- First degree in any relevant field
- Class of degree - First Class or Second Class Upper
- Compulsorily from a top-tier investment firm or big 4
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning, or a related role. Experience with financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting is required
