The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will oversee and drive sales performance. Your primary responsibility is to meet or exceed sales targets by developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, such as pharmacies, retailers, and distributors, and managing a team of Medical Representatives. 



Experience handling/selling OTC brands is highly desirable.



You will analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and ensure that products achieve optimal visibility and penetration in the market.



Job Details




  • The Area Sales Manager  who will be employed by the CHC department, will have the following duties:

  • Managing Key Distributors and customers  to deliver on sales targets and business objectives

  • Field calls and coaching with assigned Medical Sales Reps or KD Sales Reps to deliver on their KPIs

  • Manage team and territory to deliver on Monthly and Quarterly sales targets and Receivables collection targets

  • Explore opportunities for business expansion as well as setting up new KDs where data allows

  • Work with the Sales team to assist marketing teams with market intelligence

  • Work with assigned Key Distributors (KDs) to ensure availability and visibility of assigned products in all customer outlets, as well as fulfilment of orders from assigned customers



KPIs




  • Achieve assigned Monthly and Quarterly  targets on Primary and Secondary sales for the team and assigned territory

  • Ensure assigned Reps deliver on their SFA KPIs and Marketing KPIs

  • Receivables collection target
