Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and publish daily news articles covering Nigeria's political, economic, and cultural landscape.


• Conduct in-depth research to ensure accuracy and credibility of news stories.


• Stay updated on current events in Nigeria and globally, providing timely and relevant content.


• Develop feature articles, opinion pieces, and interviews with key stakeholders.


• Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm and plan content strategies.


• Ensure all content aligns with NewsAboutNigeria.com's tone and editorial guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field is preferred.


• Proven experience in journalism, news writing, or content creation (portfolio required).


• Strong understanding of Nigeria's socio-political and economic environment.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality content.


• Knowledge of SEO and content optimization is a plus.


• Proficiency in using digital tools for content creation and publishing.
