Job Summary



Senior Logistics Executive, will manage the movement, storage, and distribution of goods. he/she will oversee and coordinate transportation, optimize routes, and ensure timely delivery. Their role includes managing inventory, leading logistics teams, and solving supply chain issues efficiently.



Job Details




  1. Manage Supply Chain Operations: Oversee and streamline the end-to-end logistics process, from procurement to delivery.

  2. Coordinate Transportation: Ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods, including route optimization and carrier management.

  3. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and ensure timely restocking to meet demand.

  4. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise logistics teams, ensuring smooth operation and performance.

  5. Vendor & Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality control.

  6. Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to improve logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and resolve any operational challenges.

  7. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies while maintaining accurate records and performance metrics.

  8. Problem-Solving: Address and resolve logistics issues such as delays, shortages, or damage to goods.



Requirements




  1. Bachelor’s degree/HND in Logistics, Supply Chain, transportation, or a related field 

  2. 5-8+ years Solid knowledge in logistics or fleet management within the FMCG  industry

  3. Advanced computer software skills, (SAP, Excel) 

  4. Strong combination of technical, leadership, written & oral communication, team collaboration and interpersonal skills.

  5. Knowledge of road safety, traffic regulations, and incident management.

  6. Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.

  7. Valid driver’s license

  8. Residing in or willing to relocate to Onitsha
