Job Summary




  • Our client in the engineering industry is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tally Accountant to join their growing team.

  • In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial records using Tally.ERP 9 software, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting standards.

  • You will also be involved in various financial tasks such as bank reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and assisting with statutory compliance.



Responsibilities




  • Manage all accounting entries in Tally.ERP 9 software, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts.

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  • Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis and investigate any discrepancies.

  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, managing payments, and collecting outstanding debts.

  • Calculate and file statutory deductions (taxes, etc.) in accordance with regulations.

  • Generate and analyze various financial reports for management review.

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and tax regulations.

  • Support the finance team with other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.



Qualifications




  • B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 1 - 2 years of experience working with Tally.ERP 9 software.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience with other accounting software packages.

  • Knowledge of statutory compliance procedures.

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
