Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct technical training to ensure that field competence and skills are up to speed with equipment development and the installed base.


• Offering structured, most professional, and timely technical support to the field service engineers, Backoffice service operations, customers, dealers, and distributors.


• Plan, organize, and follow up the training agenda of Distributors’ service technicians and engineers.


• To train Distributors and customers as required, in the general operations of Atlas Copco machines.


• To plan and organize daily and weekly visit schedules to distributor Customers


• To guide and support distributors' service staff to solve difficult service problems


• Define and suggest necessary tools for the distributor service technicians.


• Obtain and distribute updated ECB to the distributor.


• Warranty validation, reporting, and claims follow-up.


• Maintain and update Distributors' install base and participate in the distributor audit.


• Ensure continuous and consistent communication between divisional technical support and competence development of teams.


• support sales of services through the provision of technical information, advice where appropriate.


• Provide professional and prompt service to all Atlas Copco customers on all types of compressed air equipment.


• To champion Smartlink installation and activation on old and new equipment.


• To train customers and Distributors personnel as required, in the general operation of their machines


• To always apply good standards of engineering practice


• To check distributor test instruments, to ensure they remain in good condition.


• To effectively promote the Atlas Copco image.


• To perform related duties as required.


• Ensure that ‘’The Way We Do Things and the Business Code of Practice are followed.

Requirements

To succeed, you will need:

• High School Diploma with 5 years’ experience in the same field/ Bachelor Engineering graduate with at least 5 years’ experience.


• Must have experience with CTS-related products such as overhaul/ repair of Compressors, Air dryers, Generators, and Lighting towers.


• Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, electrical systems, and Elektronikon module knowledge will be preferred, and related components.


• Basic computer skills and excellent customer relations skills are a must.
