Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to ensure the smooth functioning of our office operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, supporting staff, and maintaining an efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage office operations and procedures.
- Ensure the office environment is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with necessary supplies.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
- Maintain and update office records, databases, and filing systems.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.
- Provide administrative support to executives and team members as needed.
- Act as the point of contact for staff, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Plan and oversee office activities, events, and team-building sessions.
- Assist with onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records.
- Monitor staff attendance, leaves, and timekeeping.
- Handle petty cash, process invoices, and track office expenses.
- Support budget planning and ensure timely payment of office-related expenses.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Office Administrator, Front Desk personnel or receptionist
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office management tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of basic financial management principles is an advantage.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field is preferred.
This position is office-based in Lekki phase 1.
