We are seeking a Head of Sales (Corporate Sales) who will lead the corporate sales function, driving revenue growth through the acquisition and management of key corporate clients. This role requires a seasoned professional with proven experience in B2B sales, excellent relationship management skills, and a strategic mindset.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a sales team, and fostering long-term relationships with corporate partners to ensure the company's sales targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for;
- Develop and implement the corporate sales strategy, aligning it with the company's overall objectives and market opportunities.
- Lead and manage the corporate sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities within the corporate sector, targeting high-value clients and building strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Create and execute sales plans to drive business growth, including prospecting, lead generation, and negotiating corporate deals.
- Manage existing corporate client relationships, ensuring retention, upselling, and cross-selling of products and services.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop sales campaigns, promotional strategies, and product offerings that resonate with corporate clients.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies, maintaining ethical sales practices.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, providing insights into sales performance, market trends, and areas for improvement.
- Develop pricing strategies and sales pitches tailored to corporate clients, ensuring competitive yet profitable offerings.
- Oversee contract negotiations and deal closures, ensuring agreements are aligned with business objectives and client needs.
- Manage the corporate sales budget, ensuring the efficient use of resources to maximize ROI.
Job Requirements
The right candidate might have…
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional certifications is a plus.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in corporate or B2B sales.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, particularly in the corporate sector.
- Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in the insurance, technology, or financial services sector is an advantage.
