Job Summary:




  • The Corporate Investment Manager will focus on understanding and navigating the financial markets both locally in Nigeria and internationally, with particular emphasis on trend analysis, investment strategies, and fundraising from HNI’s and other institutional investors. 



Duties/Responsibilities:




  • Build, nurture, and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, and industry regulators. 

  • Regularly engage with HNIs and institutional investors to understand their investment priorities, presenting tailored business pitches to secure funding. 

  • Lead the structuring of financial deals, ensuring they align with the company’s liquidity and capital needs, while maintaining a competitive edge in the market. 

  • Monitor and forecast the company’s liquidity needs, ensuring timely and efficient capital raising and investment strategies. 

  • Prepare investor-facing materials and support investor due diligence processes to ensure successful capital raising. 

  • Provide ongoing insights into financial market trends, investor sentiment, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions. 

  • Prepare comprehensive reports for the Executive Management team on the organization’s liquidity position, economic trends, and funding strategies. 

  • Ensure that fundraising activities and financial transactions comply with relevant financial regulations and industry standards. 



Requirements:




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 

  • Familiarity with corporate finance processes, funding mechanisms, capital markets, and financial regulations. 

  • Strong ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to manage complex financial transactions, including capital raising, mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring. 

  • Demonstrates initiative in identifying opportunities and addressing challenges ahead of time.
