Role Description
- The role requires a highly skilled professional with a proven track record in the maintenance and repair of critical terminal equipment and infrastructure in the oil and gas industry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of tank farm and terminal equipment, including: metering skids, pumps, valves, automatic tank guaging systems (ATGS), diesel engine for fire-fighting pumps, diesel engine for generator, administrative building, water treatment plant, oil water separator (OWS), security fence and associated equipment etc.
- Supervise inspection, troubleshooting,repair of equipments including, instrumentation and pipelines, corrosion control systems (cathodic protection), actuators, transformers, internal floating roof (IFR), electrical installations i.e transformer, motor control panels and switch gears.
- Ensure compliance with API 650, 653, 570, NFPA 11, 13, 17 & 20 and NMDPRA codes and standards.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Lead and supervise maintenance team, ensuring safety and operational excellence.
- Provide technical guidance during inspections, audits and regulatory compliance checks.
- Monitor and manage spare parts inventory and liaise with vendors for equipment repairs or replacements.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly activity reports.
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in terminal/depot or tank farm maintenance and operations within the oil and gas industry.
- In-depth knowledge of API, NFPA and NMDPRA standards.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to guide and develop a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
