Job Summary




  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chinese Chef to prepare authentic Chinese dishes and manage kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will bring creativity and expertise in Chinese cuisine, ensuring high-quality meals that align with the company’s culinary standards.



Key Responsibilities




  • Prepare a variety of authentic Chinese dishes, including soups, stir-fries, dim sum, and traditional sauces.

  • Develop and update menus, incorporating seasonal and locally available ingredients while maintaining authenticity.

  • Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory control, and cleanliness.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and efficiency in food preparation.

  • Monitor food stock levels and coordinate with procurement to replenish supplies as needed.

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to the company’s operational standards.

  • Collaborate with management to introduce new recipes and improve existing offerings.



Requirements




  • 3 years proven experience as a Chinese Chef, with expertise in preparing traditional Chinese dishes.

  • Knowledge of various Chinese cooking styles (e.g., Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, etc.).

  • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
