We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chinese Chef to prepare authentic Chinese dishes and manage kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will bring creativity and expertise in Chinese cuisine, ensuring high-quality meals that align with the company’s culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare a variety of authentic Chinese dishes, including soups, stir-fries, dim sum, and traditional sauces.
Develop and update menus, incorporating seasonal and locally available ingredients while maintaining authenticity.
Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory control, and cleanliness.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and efficiency in food preparation.
Monitor food stock levels and coordinate with procurement to replenish supplies as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to the company’s operational standards.
Collaborate with management to introduce new recipes and improve existing offerings.
Requirements
3 years proven experience as a Chinese Chef, with expertise in preparing traditional Chinese dishes.
Knowledge of various Chinese cooking styles (e.g., Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, etc.).
Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
