Job Description

• A female barber performs a range of grooming and styling services for clients, focusing on haircuts, facial hair grooming, and scalp care. Her role combines technical skill, customer service, and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

Haircutting and Styling:

• Provide precision haircuts tailored to client preferences.


• Create modern and classic hairstyles for men, women, and children.


• Consult with clients to determine desired styles and recommend options.

Shaving and Facial Hair Grooming:

• Perform professional beard trims, hot towel shaves, and lineup services.


• Advise on facial hair care and styling techniques.

Scalp and Hair Treatments:

• Offer scalp massages and treatments to promote hair health.


• Recommend suitable products for client-specific hair types and conditions.

Customer Interaction:

• Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere.


• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.


• Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction with services.

Sanitation and Hygiene:

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.


• Sterilize tools and equipment per industry hygiene standards.


• Adhere to all local health and safety regulations.

Sales and Up-selling:

• Recommend and sell hair care products and grooming tools.


• Promote salon services and special offers to boost sales.

Professional Development:

• Stay updated with the latest barbering trends, tools, and techniques.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 1 - 3 years work experience.


• Proven experience as a barber or stylist.


• Certification from a recognized barbering or cosmetology school.


• Proficiency in modern barbering tools and techniques.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Attention to detail and creativity in styling.


• Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations.
