About the Role

• This is a 3-month provisional contract-based role, with a goal of conversion to a long-term position at the end of the provisional period.


• It is a Software Engineer I role, so applicants from all backgrounds are eligible, from recently graduated students to industry veterans.


• We are looking for someone who is passionate about what we are doing and is eager to jump in, learn how to work within our cutting-edge technical systems, and begin driving major impact quickly.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the development and enhancement of onboarding controls and fraud detection systems.


• Work on integrating vendor solutions to streamline compliance processes.


• Support the team in implementing and improving anti-spoofing models, document verification systems, and authentication solutions.


• Collaborate on transaction monitoring and watchlists screening solutions to meet regulatory requirements.


• Develop and enhance compliance tooling to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of compliance operations.


• Contribute to data transformation using tools like DBT to support risk analysis and reporting.


• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including compliance, fraud, and engineering, to ensure systems are effective and scalable.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in TypeScript, NodeJS for building scalable solutions.


• A strong interest in learning and working on compliance technology, fraud prevention, document verification, and authentication systems.

Nice to have Skills:

• Knowledge of Python for backend scripting and automation.


• Experience or familiarity with React Native


• Understanding of DBT or similar data transformation and pipeline tools.


• Experience working with Large Language Models ****(LLMs) and their applications in compliance or risk analysis.
