Key Responsibilities




  • Manage corporate projects from concept to completion, including budget preparation, equipment sourcing, installation, operation, and maintenance, as well as training of staff (both internal and clientele).

  • Coordinate, control, and supervise project execution, ensuring that projects are completed within the agreed timeframe, scope, and budget.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide expert support to clientele on major projects and facilitate smooth interactions among stakeholders (clients, colleagues, experts, and external collaborators).

  • Provide support to the development of a sister company, focused on providing innovative scientific solutions to critical sectors in Nigeria.

  • Conduct background research for current and proposed projects, including proposal writing, concept notes, and budgetary allocation.

  • Stay updated on the latest scientific analytical techniques and legal requirements to ensure adherence to current standards.

  • Travel to multiple locations across Nigeria to support technical capacity building initiatives and programs.

  • Perform project documentation, including report writing and editing of completed projects.

  • Identify and develop training and capacity-building needs in technical sciences and the use of analytical equipment and protocols for both public and private sector clients.



Candidate Requirements




  • Bachelor's degree in life, chemical and physical sciences e.g. Microbiology, Biological Science, Biochemistry, Genetics, Analytical Chemistry, with a master's degree in a relevant scientific field or an MBA. 

  • The ideal candidate should be between 30 and 35 years of age.

  • Applicants must currently reside in Abuja, as this is an immediate hire opportunity.

  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience is required. Please note that this is not an entry-level position, and ONLY APPLICANTS WHO MEET THE SPECIFIED CRITERIA WOULD BE

  • The applicant must possess strong leadership skills and be able to inspire, and initiate/generate innovative, technical and scientific solutions across a range of life, chemical and physical sciences in line with government policies and client needs.

  • You must be able to independently research scientific protocols and communicate same to non-technical persons

  • Demonstrable analytical, research and problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Commercial awareness, professionalism, discretion and ability to handle confidential information.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team with emotional maturity.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive, positive, energetic, can-do, result oriented attitude.

  • Great interpersonal, communication, writing and public speaking skills.
