Role Description



The Product Designer will be responsible for visual design, design thinking, user research, product design, and UX research as part of their day-to-day tasks.



Responsibilities




  • We are seeking to engage a skilled UI/UX Product Designer to join our team to ensure seamless user experience across the software products, platforms and devices.

  • The UI/UX Product Designer will be responsible for crafting exceptional user experiences and interfaces for our web/mobile application products. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test, intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered interfaces.

  • You will be responsible for creating user-centered design solutions that meet customer needs and business goals including global digital standards.

  • You will be responsible for developing an intuitive visually appealing, and accessible interface, ensuring seamless user experience across all platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams and interfacing with end users to ascertain areas of improvement.

  • The UI/UX Product Designer will report to the Lead developer.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Design or a similar field.

  • Banking or Fintech experience is a must

  • Minimum 3 years of proven work experience in UI/UX design.

  • Portfolio showcasing your design and development work.

  • Experience with design systems and style guides.

  • Focusing attention to detail, ability to provide ideas to technical and nontechnical addresses, analytical thought, and teamwork spirit.

  • Fluent in English (Excellent written and verbal communication skills)

  • Ability to coordinate and balance priorities of multiple projects and deliverables.

  • Experience in the financial sector will be an added advantage.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and methodologies, human-centred design approaches, and accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
