Job Summary
- The Telesales Officerwill assist the sales team in reaching out to potential clients, promoting products or services, and supporting overall sales goals.
- This role provides hands-on experience in sales and customer relations, ideal for individuals looking to build a career in sales or customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Calling:
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers from provided contact lists.
- Introduce the company’s products or services to potential clients and create interest.
Lead Qualification:
- Gather essential information from leads and determine their level of interest.
- Qualify leads and forward them to the senior sales team for follow-up if necessary.
Customer Follow-Up:
- Conduct follow-up calls with leads who expressed interest to keep them engaged.
- Respond to initial queries and address concerns where possible, or escalate them to the appropriate team.
Data Entry & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of interactions in the CRM or sales database.
- Assist in tracking sales metrics and performance data to report to the Telesales Supervisor.
Learning & Development:
- Participate in training sessions to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Seek feedback and work closely with mentors to enhance sales skills.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelors Degree / HND / OND in any relevant field.
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle rejections with a positive attitude.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn about sales and customer engagement.
