Yiaga Africa Centre for Legislative Engagement (Yiaga Africa-CLE), with the support of the European Union under the European Union Support for Democratic Governance in Nigeria (EU-SDGN), is seeking passionate and motivated young Nigerians to join its Constituency Office Internship Program.

The selected interns will be deployed to selected constituency offices across the underlisted states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for a period of three (3) months. During this time, successful candidates will provide administrative and research support while gaining hands-on experience in the operations of constituency offices and legislature-constituent relations.

This program is an excellent opportunity for young individuals committed to democratic development and eager to deepen their understanding of legislative processes and effective constituency engagement. Responsibility

1. Selected interns will serve as research assistants 


2. Monitoring and evaluation 


3. Participation in legislator constituency office activities 


4. Work closely with the legislative aide

Qualification

1. Must be between 18-35 years


2. A minimum of tertiary education (graduated or still studying)


3. Adequate knowledge of Microsoft suites 


4. Good writing and oral skills 


5. Must reside in the listed constituency 

Duration of Internship: 3 Months (December – February) 

Remuneration: Selected interns will be provided with remuneration commensurate with the work.
