Job Description
- Designs and executes the growth strategy of the Wealth team, including the achievement of profitability targets and other KPIs. Responsible for co-ordinating the management of relationships with the team’s clients and brokers. Leads the execution of the business development and market share acretion aspirations of the Wealth team in Nigeria.
Role Qualification:
Academic/Professional:
- Relevant first degree in any discipline, MSc/MBA/ACII/ACIIN will be an added advantage.
Work Experience:
- 7– 8 Years professional experience, preferably in the Financial Services Industry with at least 2-3 in related position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements strategies for business development for the Wealth Team.
- Scope the market and carry out detailed analysis with a view to growing the HNIs market share.
- Coordinate the review, updating and monitoring of relevant team dash boards, providing the company with up-to-date analysis of distribution performance as well as recommendation to improve sales and profitability.
- Ensure that all team’s functions are executed in line with the overall AXA Group standards.
- Drives the preparation, implementation and achievement of the team’s budget and all other agreed activities towards the achievement of the company’s corporate objectives.
- Supervise the accurate gathering of data and customer documentation, ensuring filing systems are always up to date.
- Ensure regular interactions with the Claims team in other to ensure the continuous refining of our pricing, terms and conditions. As well as the regular update of outstanding claims reserves AMIPLC/HR.
- Ensures correct assessment of risks proposed for insurance as well as giving equitable terms.
- Ensure that all team’s functions are executed in line with the overall AXA Group standards.
- Provides coaching and mentoring to members of the team.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Proven ability to meet / exceed targets and deadlines
- Knowledge of Insurance Industry, Products and Operations.
- Good knowledge of the relevant regulatory frameworks and the regulatory environment.
- Excellent understanding of the financial services landscape and inherent risks in non-bank financial services industry.
