Job Overview



Our client, a leading diagnostic center in Lagos, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Paramedic to join their healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide timely and efficient medical care, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality diagnostic and emergency services.



Key Responsibilities




  1. Provide immediate medical care and stabilize patients in emergencies.

  2. Administer life-saving treatments, such as CPR, defibrillation, or medication administration, as required.

  3. Assist with patient preparation for diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging procedures.

  4. Monitor patient vitals during diagnostic processes and report abnormalities to the attending physician.

  5. Safely transport patients to and from the diagnostic center as needed.

  6. Ensure proper use of medical equipment and adhere to safety protocols during patient handling.

  7. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, treatment provided, and diagnostic results.

  8. Prepare incident and follow-up reports for management and healthcare teams.

  9. Work closely with doctors, radiologists, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

  10. Participate in training programs and workshops to maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical practices.

  11. Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, safety standards, and local regulations.

  12. Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment and facilities.



Qualifications and Requirements




  1. Diploma or degree in Emergency Medical Services, Paramedicine, or a related field.

  2. Minimum of 1 year in a paramedic role within the healthcare or diagnostic industry.

  3. Proficiency in emergency medical procedures and patient assessment.

  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  5. Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.

  6. Familiarity with medical equipment and diagnostic center operations.
