Overview



We are recruiting a dynamic and experienced Head of Human Resources for our client, a reputable medical diagnostic company in Surulere, Lagos. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving HR strategies that enhance employee engagement, optimize organizational effectiveness, and ensure compliance with HR policies. Strong expertise in Compensation and Benefits management is essential for this role.



Key Responsibilities




  1. Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

  2. Provide guidance and thought leadership to senior management on human capital planning and workforce optimization.

  3. Lead change management initiatives to drive organizational transformation.

  4. Design, review, and implement competitive compensation and benefits structures to attract and retain top talent.

  5. Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including pensions, taxes, and healthcare.

  6. Conduct regular benchmarking and market analysis to maintain equitable and competitive pay practices.

  7. Oversee the company's recruitment strategy to ensure optimal employee retention.

  8. Implement robust onboarding programs to facilitate seamless integration of new hires.

  9. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization.

  10. Drive the design and implementation of performance management systems.

  11. Lead training and development programs to enhance employee skills and productivity.

  12. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives.

  13. Formulate, review, and update HR policies in line with labor laws and best practices.

  14. Track key HR metrics, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to management.

  15. Prepare detailed reports on workforce productivity, turnover, and engagement.



Key Qualifications




  1. HR certification (e.g., CIPM, PHRI) is an added advantage.

  2. Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  3. HR experience in a Healthcare Company is a must.

  4. Proven expertise in Compensation and Benefits management.

  5. Excellent knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.

  6. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
